Fantasia, for solo flute – In 2022, the flutist Tadeu Coelho, after discovering my Study No. 1, commissioned me a piece for solo flute. So, I imagined a Fantasy, because, for such a virtuoso flutist, I could give wings to my creativity and use resources such as circular breathing, and registers on the edge of the instrument’s limits. I created the music in part, thinking about the harmonic field of G minor, exploring the harmonic and natural scales.
